Hans, Thanks for your kind reply. Here's what I observe, in response to your questions: Playback Video Driver: 1. The problem seems to appear only when using X11-OpenGL. 2. When I change to X11-OpenGL, from X11 or X11-XV, multiple instances of the error message (as seen in my earlier posting)
