I have now renamed the cinelerra in /usr/bin/cinelerra.bak
cinelerra-4.4/bin/cinelerra still works. I then tried to remove
cinelerra-4.4-dmo1.deb
leaving cinelerra-data-4.4-dmo1.deb, did that. cinelerra-4.4/bin/cinelerra
wouldn't work.

Rendering mov with x264 & pcm or any audio gives me gray video, audio's fine.
That's the same as it was with the deb-multimedia version. x264 was one of the
patches

The cinelerra available from deb-multimedia has a bug that dumps some garbage
over the file name, thats why I did that. % sign works just fine , Thanks.
