Thanks for your help. I have just successfully compiled it on a Mageia 3 ! (just had to compile faac and install a few missing -devel packages). The patches from your second link are "Debian made" OR they contains the latest changes from cinelerra CV repository? (I have applied all of them).

Not an ideal solution, but the upstream, unpatched source of Cinelerra-CV is available in the PPA repository: https://launchpad.net/~cinelerra-ppa/+archive/ppa/+files/cinelerra-cv_2.2.orig.tar.bz2 Patches are also available in the debian specific tarball: https://launchpad.net/~cinelerra-ppa/+ar
