I'm experiencing make errors on Arch 64bit.
It used to build fine a few months ago, so I guess its an Arch update
issue.
Einar's CV version builds without problems.
rimental option;
. -acodec aac -strict experimental -ab ***k -ac 2 .etc
For better cinelerra playback, you may want to experiment with the play
every frame options.
Lastly, using both libav and ffmpeg can only cause confusion. Ive stuck
with ffmpeg because I know it works well.

I had a similar problem with random crashes with Ubuntu 10.04 and an
Asus m/board.
It appeard to stem from the usb ports, in particular the usb
mouse/keyboard. This problem was fixed with a new internal usb card and
not using the m/board usb ports.

Many thanks for your time Nicola.
I look forward to the patch.
Thanks again

Monty's ffmpeg loader is proving to be very acceptable in use. I would
like to express my wishes for its inclussion into the next official CV
version if possible. Are there any pitfalls from doing this?
last thing. With CV version, stopping a render by clicking the x
icon next to the progress bar freezes Cinelerra. In HV version it
dosn't. Is a fix possible for this?
Many thanks

Many thanks
