hey since the gui is being looked at right now and apple just updated their
software, I thought it'd be a good time to run through (and maybe
reiterate) a couple features that would simplify video editing without
sacrificing features.
That tends to be a lot of "proprietary" software's problem, th
wow, someone should build in celtx features into cinelerra... somehow... I
just think that could be edgy...
wow, too crazy, I just found one at a goodwill here in santa cruz for 5
dollars and found this video... then I check cinelerra and I see other fresh
peezys doin it on the forum too? so opensauce awesome.
wouldn't it be nice if there was a video meeting on ustream.tv or
something? I dunno, just a thought...

I'll try to fix the nondigest thing, but evidently I'm dumber than I
thought I was...
"Don't make that judgement. Just because I've learned and edited on at
least a dozen NLEs doesn't mean I'm unwilling to learn new software. It
means quite the opposite. I've cut on lot's of systems, right now
I think I'm supposed to subscribe here. I'm not sure but I hear I am
screwing up the mailing list form and I should subscribe "to the ML in
non-digest form"

by the way looking forwards to hear more about the 35mm project, I
think its a perfect example of the potential for a rough edit feature
followed by something that can handle hardcore 35mm goodness!
