I am going on testing Cinelerra plug-ins. One month ago, Simeon Völkel
announce the renovation of svg plugin, and one week later Paolo Rampino
updated the Akirad repo. Today (yes, I am late, sorry) I've tried to use it,
but Cinelerra crash again. The error showed:

as Roland pointed out, there was some work going on concerning the SVG
plugin. If you want to test the most recent version, get a copy from
git://git.cinelerra.org/sv/cinelerra
and checkout branch cin2.1sv.
The workaround lets inkscape export a png and uses convert from the
imag

Nothing wrong with your Cinelerra.
The plugin is not up to date (it worked with a very old version of
inkscape).
SimAV said he is about to update it ... maybe some news soon.

I'm trying to use SVG via Inkscape effect but Cinelerra crash when load
any .svg. Is there any problem with my Cinelerra?
My configuration: kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty amd64 (kde 4.3.1) + Medibuntu amd64
+ Akirad jaunty amd64 ( cinelerra-cv-smp 2.1.1 amd64 ).
