I wonder what is suggested as preferable and best, either to correct the analog S-video stream before conversion to DV, or afterwards on DV with Cinelerra?
I will use a TBC to stabilize and clean the analog S-video stream before DV conversion. In addition I can use a high resolution video processor/color corrector to adjust detail, brightness, contrast and separate RGB color saturation (white balance) and more effects (sephia, negative). If I use it think it is best to connect on the analog video stream before input to the TBC: S-video player->(Video/RGB corrector)->TBC->ADVC/Firewire->DV IN Firewire PC Which tools are available in Cinelerra or other on Linux to do such corrections? -- Terje J.
