I took the 640-901 on Aug 15th and it was tuff for me. A lot of BGP, OSFP,
and ISIS questions. I think I also had a couple EIGRP questions. There
were a few lengthy route configuration simulations as well as a few
subnetting/VLSM questions.
What books are you using to prepare for the test?

I have registered for this exam for the 22nd of this month. I had the option
of the newer exam (642-801) but I chose this one. The reason being the fact
that this exam covers more material than the newer one. However, I guess
there is a difference in knowing your technologies and passing
