Ok, you have an RSM which will do the inter-vlan routing for you. I don't
know what you have configure on the RSM but I'll show you here how and what
the config should look like:

You don't configure the server's ip address on the switch. That is
something that is configure on the server it self. All you have to be
certain about is that the port that you are attaching the server to is in
the same vlan where the subnet of the server's ip address belongs to.

You don't necessarily need vlan 1 on a switch. All the Cisco switch are
defaulted to vlan 1. It can be any vlan you wish. What is the goal that is
trying to be accomplished by shutting the vlan 1.
