I'm sorry, but I disagree. The static mappings must come from the global
pool of ip addresses.
So, to answer the orginal question, "May I define a global pool addresses
that has already defined for static
global address?" Yes you can. Define the pool first, then create the
static mappings
I'm sorry that I don't know where the problem is, but I can say that
I don't believe this is a PIX specific issue. We have a 2610 running
12.0(5) IP/FW that has the exact same problem. We only have one IP
address to translate with and the command "sh ip nat trans" shows some
interesting results.
have included the startup messages, show version & show startup-config. If
this is an option set in the boot rom, shouldn't the config register be
something different? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
