Piyush, the answer to your question is YES. you better implement this fix before your router gets attacked. the access list implementation consists in blocking protocols 53(swipe), 55 (IP Mobility), 77 (Sun ND), and 103 (PIM) from cloging up you interface queues. the advisory was pretty straight

sorry if this topic is a bit off. I am looking for alternatives to using Cisco's high debit equipment (because of cost). can anyone make suggestions as to which vendors (web links) i can lookup to get some routers that will do Policy-based routing with 100 and Gigabit interfaces on it? Pros/con
