Patrick, This just means that the port lost a connection to the end device, it's possible that its cause by a pc being rebooted, unlikely a duplex mismatch, or config, could be NIC or cable. Best thing is to set it to auto and see what happens, remember if you have one side auto and the other hard

Dennis - and others, The quickest way to set a port up as a 'host' port is to use - set port host x/y, this automatically disables trunking, channeling and enables port fast, a wonder command :) Although might only be present in 6.2. Brian P.S. On the subject of 6.5K's anyone had any problems
