Review of BSCN: Building Scalable Cisco Networks
1 out of 5 stars Incomplete Coverage - Missing PSV Protocol
Reviewer: A Humble Reviewer from Rehoboth Beach, DE
This book has incomplete coverage of the topics required to pass the test.
For example they left out all detail of the PSV Protocol that they have
implemented at McGraw Hill.
You might ask what is the PSV Service. Well it stands for Poop Shoot
Violator Service. McGraw Hill has quite evidently implemented this protocol
in BSCN Book but failed to mention its implementation to you the
unsuspecting buyer. They should have clearly mentioned that when you buy
this book you are signing up for two (2) Poop Shoot Violations of yourself.
One (1) for buying the book and not getting any details from it. Two (2) for
then going to take the test, thus paying another hundred bucks, and getting
a second and more expensive Poop Shoot Violation. Thus it is felt by this
reviewer that the PSV Protocol should have been explained in the Disclaimer
section of the Book.
