difference between a Catalyst 2950 and a 3550? [7:46468]

Does anybody know what the difference is between a Catalyst 2950 and a Catalyst 3550? I read the product literature but couldn't really pinpoint what the differences are. Cisco wouldn't sell them as two different products if they do the same thing, right??? Message Posted at:

Centillion to Catalyst 5K [7:44727]

I looked in the archives and it appears that some have successfully connected a Centillion 100 and a Catalyst 5000. What I am looking for is specifics and caveats for using these two in my CCIE rack. What versions of software/firmware will work together? Appreciate any help. Message Posted
