My friend told me that 100Mbit cable can't SHORTER than 6 feets. Have
everyone heard that this theory ? If yes, what is the reason or he is bull
shitting.

I checked the web, and saw some places that say a minimum of .5M (1.5Ft),
but I also ran into another place that says 2M (~6Ft). I know that we have
and do commonly use 3Ft patch cables for 100Mbps ethernet and it works fine,
so between the two, I'd say that 1.5Ft could indeed be a minimum. Howe
w short it can
be.
