I am trying to figure out what's wrong with a 2620 router that keeps
rebooting on and on and on...Initially, I did the Ctrl-Break on startup, got
into the router, configured the startup-config file and set the
config-register to 0x2102. Everything went fine and it was working. Today
when I
I had the same problem with one of my 2502s, I just called tech support and
they asked me to open the router up and re-seat some cards. I'm sure if you
call them they will tell you to do the same.

Type a 'sh ver' after when the router reboots by itself and see in
the command's report the reason for the last reboot.

You want to pull out all the cards and see what
happens, if the same thing happens, I will tftp a new
flash; if it does keep rebooting without any card on
it, then put the card back one by one, it worked for
me once.
