TIA Cecil Scenario --------- 1. User initiates tcp session to target device (telnet to network element, say a remote IOS router-- telnet 1.1.1.2 2091) 2. Target device/router is configured with "aaa authentication login vtymethod group tacacs+ ", Tacacs+ start authentication, 'Authen' message is sent to a TACACS+ server (NAS) 3. Tacacs+ server/NAS authenticates the user 4. Async lines are configured with "aaa authorize reverse-telnet tacacs+" command. A start 'Author' message is sent to the Tacacs+ server 5. If all is ok, user is authorized, but in this case Authorization does not occur.
