Hi
I would like to know how to do bandwidth control using
6509 with MSFC. Basically, I have a number of VLANS
created and I would like to limit the amount of
bandwidth for each VLAN. (eg. VLAN10 - 1Mbps)
Also, can this be done on a per port basis?
Thanks in advance.

router ethernet port. I wanna use my switch But I have a problem. I
can't do bandwidth management. I want to set 128K upstream and 64K
downstream for all RF customer which is connected my 3524 XL.
How can I do that? Can I do that on my switch or router?

Does anyone know of any free bandwidth management software? Maybe something
for a flavor of Unix?
Thanks

Mark,
I've used MRTG for years. Unless they have made some serious changes to it,
it's still a monitoring tool, not management.
Thanks.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by bandwidth management ?
What is it exactly that you are trying to do, are we talking about
a QoS provisioning tool ?
