Hi folks, I have one workstation and a server, one one each vlan, running ISL on a cat5500+RSM between the two vlans. When I ftp from the workstation to the server, I get really slow speed, about a couple kbits/s and eventually, it times out with a meesage: NETOUT:connection reset by peer. Here is what i use: workstation = nt 4.0 workstation server = nt 4.0 server with IIS4 acting as ftp-server When I jump into another vlan where my hp-ux box is on and ftp to the nt-server from there, i get excellent speed with 100% success rate. I've search a few websites where they mentioned of a black hole router as a cause. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks. -Frank _________________________________ FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
