Does anyone know of a listing showing a comparison of different types of learning, resources required, cost, effectiveness, etc. for advancing through the Cisco certs? I have a limited budget for my education and am overwhelmed with all the possible paths to get the knowledge to become CCNP, CCDA, & CCDP certifications. 1) I would like to see a listing comparing the different schools with what you do and don't get. 2) A comparison of classroom, live over the Internet, prerecorded, CBT, etc. 3) The different paths to self study, cost of time, materials, and dollars. Each of these should include opinions, (unbiased by the training vendors), on how effective each is. Does anyone achieve CCIE with out hands on experience, then are they any good? I doubt it from what I've heard but maybe someone has. Perhaps we need another discussion just to research this topic, or a web site that someone will put together for these references. I will volunteer a space on my web site if people will provide information. I just want to find information on how to get the most bang for my buck and time effort. If such a web resource exists, please let me know where it is. Please reply to this posting for all to read.
