Catalyst switch 2900XL IOS upgrade?

Is there any difference in upgrade the switch IOS vs. router IOS. Is it just as simple as running the command "copy tftp flash". I notice there are files and directory on the switch flash: Switch_7#dir flash: Directory of flash: 2 -rwx 988531 Mar 01 1993 00:01:35 c2900XL-h-mz-112.8-SA5
