Hi Yes. The CS-500 series are very old in terms of Cisco equipment. They will not run 10.x code without an upgrade. I got mine with upgraded RAM which allows me to TFTP boot 10.3 code. Also read the CCO documentation as they are a little strange for things like password recovery... HTH -- John
