I seem to recall that recent releases of IOS disallow discontiguous ACL mask bits, making a lot of these bizarre access list questions moot. Do any of you recall the details? Was it in 12.2 that they tweaked this?
I'd swear I remember something about this, but I just tested it with 12.2(3) and it still accepted some pretty bizarre masks.
