You need to add the following command (in the global configuration mode) ip subnet-zero The problem is that you're trying to subnet the 10.0.0.0 network into a smaller subnet while you want to use the first subnet (subnet zero) which is not the default behavior for IOS prior to 12.0 Regards -- Sh
