Life has been good at Large Satanic Enterprises Inc., and I have been able
to order a bunch of new hardware. As a result, I have few dozen fresh
Cisco Documentation CDs again, taking up valuable real estate on my desk.

I am offering to send them to anyone who would like one; I only ask a few
things:

1. You want the CD for your own use only -- no fair selling it on Ebay for
$29.99.

2. You don't already have a Docs CD. These CDs are dated from 3/00 to
3/01, and they aren't any different than the one you already have, at
least for CCNA/CCNP relevant info. If you really need to know the stuff
that's changed in the last few months, you should already have a CCO
account.

3. You don't have a fast internet connection, or you plan to use the CD to
study on an airplane or something. The CD is the same as what's on
www.cisco.com/univercd -- which is tough to surf from an airplane seat, or
over a 14.4 dialup.

4. You have an address that's in the United States. My apologies if
you're a poor student in India; shipping outside the US is too expensive
for me to cope with. Trade your local Cisco SE a beer for a Docs CD -- he
can probably use the beer, and he's likely got a few spare CDs. When I
made this offer last month, I got a ton of requests from all over the
world, please don't waste both our time.

If you can meet these rigid guidelines, please send me your postal address
by return email. Try not to spam the list, but I understand if it's
difficult to trim the "To:" field in your email. Note when I sent this
email out -- if it's already been a few days, the CDs are likely all gone.
 Sorry.

And to those folks who always send me rude email, suggesting I'm a clever
thief or direct-mail address collector: I'm simply not that clever. But
hey, good luck with the paranoia thing.
