Hey guys/gals,

I realize this is not a job posting forum but wanted to give this to the
list before we posted on monster... :)

My manager is leaving for a new job and we have decided to replace her with
an engineer and divy up the managerial chores she once handled between the
team members. (adding a body to the on call rotation is the key drive
here!) :)

We are in the Atlanta area (Windy hill rd) if any are interested. Our
network consists of around 40 smaller sites and 5 major facillities.

(sonet mesh/45mb frame/t-1 up to shaped 6mb back/gig core/mixed dark fiber)
blah blah blah..... about 100 servers, 80 or so intel/novell/nt, the rest
*nix (oh and 1 linux! ) :)

This is not an entry level position. Certification is not required and
frankly we could care less as long as you fit the bill. We would prefer
sombody with strong troubleshooting skills outside the realm of
connectivity. Connectivity is constantly called on to solve problems with
applications/workstations/servers and must have an open mind towards problem
solution.

(this is a 24x7 operation so you will be on call!)

Please do not respond to the list!

oh...and you must like linux... :)

-Patrick
