We are adding an OC3 to our network due to a recent contract w/ a large web hosting company. We are looking at using the POSIP card. The contract requires that they have the ability to saturate the OC3 w/o dropping any packets. I am worried that my 7500 w/ a vip2-40 will start dropping packets under heavy load, there are 3 other DS3 interfaces on the router that are at about 60% utilization. Has anyone here had any experience w/ this combination that can give me some pointers. I'm trying to not have to buy this card just to move to a 12000 in a month because it's dropping packets.
