I've been 'blessed' with a loaded BLN. There is a quad sync serial card
(5280) and an OSync card, as well as a quad token ring card and a Sonet\SDH
card. I'll easily make use of the 4 token ring interfaces, but what I'd
really like to do is use the serial interfaces as a FR switch.

Hey Bill,
The BN and ASN's can act as a frame switch with a
*special* image, refered to as BNX code.
The drawback is, I don't think normal router functions
work when using the BNX code. I'm not 100% on this so
don't take my word. Also, the BNX code hasn't been
upgraded in quite sometime compare
