Waaaaaaaayyy OT..... sorry. :-) Right now we have a couple of web servers with identical content and all file updates must be handled manually by myself or someone else in my group because we're the only ones with access to the secure part of our network. Even with only two servers, it gets to be a pain to manually copy files out to the web servers, especially since certain files can change multiple times per day.
I'm thinking that companies that have a lot of servers, especially 'mirrored' servers, must have a better way of managing all of this and perhaps automating a portion of it. However, I don't even really know where to start looking. Do you know what products might be out there to handle this particular issue?
