That's exactly the way I felt after my attempt, minus the possible hardware
problems.

The problem I'm running into now is, my lab date is coming up (Jan 14th) and
it's very hard for me to get motivated to go through stuff I've gone through
before... but I know if I don't go over it it'll come back to haunt me. It's
also been 5 months since my previous attempt, I wish I could have gotten
back in sooner.
