Talking with a co-worker I think we got it figured out.  E1 on the PIX
501 is really a virtual interface, you actually have four ethernet
interfaces, a hub, on the inside.  Therefore I don't know what relevance
there is in having ethernet1 show up as 10 full as it's most likely the
internal connection between the 4 port hub and the PIX "backplane" if
you will.  

  I would guess it would be better to not display the 10 full info, just
confuses us simple minds!!
