Here is a note from the research I was doing on Queuing and I have an issue that has popped up from a design point. Note: A variety of queuing mechanisms can be configured using multilink, for example, Multichassis Multilink PPP (MMP). However, if only PPP is used on a tunneled interface - for example, virtual private dialup network (VPND), PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE), or PPP over Frame Relay (PPPoFR) no queuing can be configured on the virtual interface. We are designing a WAN that is going to use GRE tunnels over a PPP encapsulated T-1 Point to point link. I need to use Diffserv (RFC 2474 and 2475) (same selection criteria will be applied to all tunnel interfaces) to provide prioritzation of data. I have two questions: 1. Can it be done? 2. If so how? *******************Internet Email Confidentiality Footer******************* Privileged/Confidential Information may be contained in this message.
