I once had a student who Telnetted to every other router in the lab and
changed the banner message of the day to say something like:
SYNTAX ERROR
ROUTER CANNOT INITIALIZE
CONTACT CISCO TECHNICAL SUPPORT IMMEDIATELY
Another good one is to change the router's hostname
