I just took and passed the BSCI test this morning. That's a tough test.
Passing score is a 700. Hardest part was not knowing what to expect on it.

I studied the Routing Certification Guide and the BSCN book. The Cert guide
might have been the best thing for the old test with all the theory
questions, but I think the BSCN was more helpful because the questions are a
lot deeper and more detailed on this new test than the Cert guide goes
into. Plus the Cert guide has so many mistakes (typo and technical) that it
is really frustrating. My suggestion- read both.

Unless you have a photographic memory, I don't think it is passable without
prior knowledge and hands-on experience.

IS-IS wasn't too tough, just read through some white papers on the Cisco web
site and you'll be set. I have never used IS-IS and I did fine on that
section.
