I will be preparing next year. I have been working directory services, some ids, auditing, firewalls etc. for several years.
I will be pursuing the P-level 1st. Do all the infosec, PIX exams, SAFE etc. Already have all the books from Ciscopress. Then the written with IP3XPRT books. Will use B0S0N. Lab next, will work at home on pix and routers, for say 6-12 mths, whenever I am ready. (as you already thought, mileage may vary) I also hold CISSP.
