I too can't find any detail explanation of ISIS on the web. The most detail
coverage I find is in Jeff Doyle book TCP/IP Routing Volume 1. Or you may
try http://www.nanog.org/ they have a few presentation about ISIS.

The IS-IS paper by Peter Van Oene at http://www.certificationzone.com
is very good as well. You do need to subscribe to get it but with all
of the other papers, test questions and labs that you get it's well
worth it.

I can tell ya, that Doyles ISIS chapter didn't come close to representing
all of the information on the BSCI. out of 144 questions about 40 of
them were ISIS... damn!
