Hi Juan,

If you only have one global address you'll have add a static statement
with a port map for tcp port xxxx from the internet interface to the
inside interface.

Example:

[no] static [(internal_if_name, external_if_name)] {tcp|udp}
                {|interface}
                  [dns] [netmask ]
                [ [ []]]

Static (inside,outside) tcp interface xxxx 172.16.1.5 xxxx

Where xxxx is the terminal services port and the word "interface"
denotes that you are using the ip address on the external interface for
the static. 172.16.1.5 represents the local IP of your terminal server.

You'll then need to add the appropriate acl statements to allow incoming
connections to the terminal server as well.

Hope that helps a bit.

Geoff

Subject: Help Pix 501

Team,
        I want to be able to telnet to my internal network(terminal
server) via the
Pix 501, I have a connectivity via my cable provider, I have only one IP
address. Before using the pix I have a router and I used to telnet to it
from the Internet then connect to my terminal server, now I can't do it
because there is no telnet capabilities from the Pix 501, Remember I
have
only one IP....Any ideas how to do this........I looked in the Cisco Web
and
the examples that I was able to find they assume that I have more than 1
IP
which is no my case.....At the present time I have not problem
connecting to
the Pix from the Internet

I really appreciate your help.....

Thanks,

Juan
