the spammers will just archive it and spam me there instead! besides I use a
seperate program for news and email and it's kind of a pain to switch back
and fourth to authenticate the posts...

Would you put an access list preventing telnet to a unix server from the
internet on the serial interface or the ethernet interface?
why allow junk in just to moderate, when you can stop it at the wan side?
