Jaspreet-

It's just my .00000010 cents, but I think your thoughts are right on
target.

I personally think that the CCDA would be the next step for foundational
purposes of making a well-rounded CCIE candidate... but as others will
comment, you don't need it to pursue the CCIE LAB.

After the CCDA, than I would go for the Security Specialization, which
will also build more foundational knowledge for working around Voice
Networks and maintaining Network Security. Again, this is just my
opinion, based on what I've observed in the last year.

Good Luck!
Mark
(...who's clearing the CCNP finish line this Saturday- God willing)

Hi Everybody

I have just cleared my CCNP . With not too much hands on experience and
equipment to work with . I am wondering what to peruse next . The
ultimate
goal is towards CCIE however I believe that It would be fair to attempt
after a couple of years experience to be a true expert . Meanwhile I am
wondering which certification to peruse next which helps me move towards
my
goal as well as makes me broad base in knowledge . Thoughts in my head
have
been -

1. Security specialisation

2. Voice specialisation

3. CCDA

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated .

Thanks as always

Jaspreet
