o.k. lets start at the physical layer. What cabling is being used here? Have you tested it to verify that it is o.k.? 2nd. What is the setting of the NIC cards in the servers? Manually set or auto neg. 3rd. What is the setting of the ports on the switch that they are connected to? Manually
