I'm also working on my CCNP, and at the same, keeping note of whatever I've
learnt to ease my burden on the progress for CCIE.

Relax but don't relax too much. Start studying for the CCIE as soon as
possible to get your feet wet
That's the mistake I made. I waited a year later. now I forgot about half of
the stuff.
