Even without 'no service config', it shouldn't take 10 minutes to get a router up. If you are consoled in, you will see the router attempted to get a config automatically, but again, even with that, you should get a command prompt you can control in less than 10 minutes. My 2 cents. Mike W.

10 minutes? Are you exaggerating? :-) Anyway, try no service config. That will get it to stop trying to download a config file with TFTP. You might want to figure out why it started doing that in the first place to make sure it doesn't happen again. It happens often in a lab environment with
