I'm not clear on one thing here: are you using the bandwidth command to
assign a clock rate? If so, that is incorrect. You should use the
"clock rate" command for this. The bandwidth command is relatively
arbitrary and is used by routing protocols for metric calculation. It
has no bearing on
Check your keepalives and your encapsulation. Also, you might want to give
debug serial interface a try to see if you can get any clues.
