There is a default time-out specified, if the IP packet exceeds this it will cause a time-out (*) of course, if the router has a access-list for ICMP packets (since trace-route uses ICMP) then you will have a complete time-out for a hop. (i.e. see 15) Ruud -Oorspronkelijk bericht- Van:
