Ok here is where we're at: We've never had this RSM with a proper image. The first time we booted it there was only a boot image on it (c5rsm-boot-mz.112-12a.P1.bin), so we don't know if there was some pre-existing hardware problem with our VIP2 card. With the old 11.2 *boot* image we didn

Don't think so. Latest microcode should come with the updated IOS. I would hope that they wouldn't break it. Here's two sources of Undocumented commands. Not sure what the commands I included will show. Hope that your box isn't in production - just in case. http://www.i-n-t.de/ccie/ios_commands.h
