You can create a virtual token ring interface for testing rsrb and dlsw and IPX in versions 12.x and up I beleive. You can change the mac address but you cannot however add an IP address to this interface upto 12.1 though. I have not tested this in 12.2 yet. I wish I can add an IP address.
