Hi Amit, First the requirement to do VoIP is to have 150ms delay end-to-end. Delay upto 300ms is allowed as long as both sides realize that there is going to be some delay. Out of the 150ms, 50-75ms is taken up for router processing. So you have another 75ms to 100ms for sending data from one

If your question is "Can I do VOIP over a satellite link?" I would think that one could not. The latency is so high that it would have to be an issue. If someone is doing it I'd be very interested in the configurations. It would really help a number of companies that I know. --- Ricardo Ciganda
