What you are seeing is an MD5 hash of the clear text password. Unlike the type "7" password there is no "easy" way to get the clear text password from the hash. I believe (I may be wrong) that an MD5 hash can be brute forced but it takes LOTS of processing power and time. Regards, Nathan -
