Don't they break down by themselfes??? (sorry, I couldn't resist it) If you mean the CTRL-BREAK sequence when using HyperTerminal to a Cisco Router, it doesn't work. You will have to search the Internet for one of the fixed HyperTerminal's that works. Hth, Ole
