I'm not sure what you are referring to whe you say you want the router to be
in the network?  And why would changing the framing would help it.  I
believe the Cisco 700 is an ISDN router and the ethernet framing should left
alone on it's default, if you are referring to framing meaning the
encapsulation type.  Maybe this link will help:
